I went to Hogg Mine on the 28th of June and came back a happy camper. Well, excluding parking on the Interstate for 4 hours because of an accident.
In the below picture, this is everything I collected that day (click the pic for a larger view).
This is a closer view of the cooler piece of beryl. Almost aquamarine.
This is a closer view of the rose quartz. While there are a couple pieces of white, 90% of it is rose. There are a few of the darker pink that are clear with a little silk. You can read through a couple of the 33mm-ish pieces. I am looking forward to getting a faceting machine and going to town on them. Maybe I will try a cab for a star too.
AmethystGuy has had great luck at Hogg. Some luck, check out this beryl!

Here are some new pictures. This is my grade A stuff from trips June 28th and August 2nd. I have a big box of other stuff now.
So Close! This would be a facetable aquamarine if their was not a feather right across the table.
*Update - I decided to try and cut this. I have a .2ct, 3.5mm aquamarine from this stone. I will post a picture in the gems section of Rocks when I get a chance.
